Rather than offering one basic level of cover, there are different options available depending on the vehicle, the level of protection required and the length of cover you choose.
CORE WARRANTY
Core provides extensive protection against sudden and unexpected mechanical, electrical and electronic component failures.
Cover includes thousands of vehicle components, including many parts within the engine, gearbox, transmission, drive system, steering, suspension, braking, cooling, fuel and electrical systems.
Parts, labour and VAT are included on authorised repairs up to the selected claim limit. Wear and tear on covered components may also be included, subject to the applicable mileage limits and terms of the policy.
ULTRA WARRANTY
Ultra is designed to provide an enhanced level of warranty protection.
It includes extensive mechanical, electrical and electronic component cover and offers a higher level of protection for covered repairs, subject to the claim limit shown on your warranty schedule.
This can include major systems such as the engine, gearbox, turbocharger, suspension, steering, braking and climate-control systems.
FLEXIBLE COVER OPTIONS
A choice of warranty periods and claim limits is available, allowing the level of cover to be matched to the vehicle and your requirements.
Depending on the product and vehicle eligibility, different claim limits and longer-term warranty options are available.
BREAKDOWN & RECOVERY
Additional breakdown assistance can also be arranged through Warranties 4U.
Protect cover can provide 24-hour UK roadside assistance, local recovery and support following qualifying mechanical or electrical breakdowns.
For customers wanting a higher level of assistance, Protect Plus can provide additional benefits such as nationwide UK recovery, home assistance, mis-fuel assistance and additional travel or accommodation support where applicable.
HOW CLAIMS WORK
If you experience a problem with a covered component, the fault should first be diagnosed and a repair quotation obtained.
The claim is then submitted to Warranties 4U for assessment.
Repairs must not be authorised or started until approval has been given.
Once authorised, qualifying repairs are covered in accordance with the warranty selected and its applicable claim limit.
